Where do the B vitamins come from?

Many of the B vitamins are sourced from spirulina, a type of blue-green algae. Spirulina is cultured and harvested at a partner facility located in the Sonoran Desert near the Salton Sea in southern California. They are masters of aquatic agriculture, who have passed a rigorous Nutricert™ certification audit. Nutricert™ is our exclusive certification that ensures that sustainable environmental and agricultural practices – consistent with Nutrilite™ values and quality standards – are followed in the cultivation and production of botanicals used to make ingredients intended for Nutrilite™ supplements. These practices set Nutrilite™ Vitamin B Dual-Action apart.

What does dual-action mean?

The term dual-action refers to the combination of two technologies in one tablet. The dark green layer is the instant release layer that completely releases two B vitamins within a one-hour period immediately after taking. The light green layer is the extended release layer that releases six B vitamins during an eight-hour period.

What does bi-layer mean?

The term bi-layer simply refers to the unique, physical structure of the vitamin B tablet. There are two distinct layers: a dark green layer for instant release of two of the B vitamins and a light green layer for the extended release of the remaining six B vitamins.

Nutrilite™ Vitamin B Dual-Action is NSF certified. What is NSF certified?

Choosing a product certified by NSF International gives you confidence that what's on the label is what's in the product. From extensive product testing and material analyses to unannounced plant inspections, every aspect of a product's development is thoroughly evaluated before it can earn NSF certification.
