Is this product safe for septic systems?

Yes. All Amway Home™ products are septic safe. They won’t cause sludge to form or disrupt the natural bacteria that keep your septic system working.

There’s a smell coming from the inside of my HE washing machine. Is it from Amway Home™ products?

No. Dirty water can sit in the bottom of an HE washer between cycles. So even if you’re using Amway Home™ products, we recommend you clean your washer once a month using Amway Home™ All Fabric Bleach.

What can cause the detergent to clump or not dissolve properly?

If you add your laundry to the washing machine before adding your detergent or if you tightly pack your laundry into the machine, pockets can be formed that keep the detergent from proper contact with water. To avoid this issue, start filling your washing machine with water, then add your detergent, and add your laundry last.

What do enzymes do?

Enzymes are naturally derived, biodegradable molecules that work to break up specific stain groups. For example, in Amway Home™ products, we use one enzyme that naturally breaks up protein stains like blood, egg or baby formula. Another enzyme we use naturally breaks up starch stains like rice, pasta or pudding. Once the stains have been broken up, they can easily be washed away.

Is Amway Home™ SA8™ Laundry Detergent Certified Kosher?

Yes.
