Does the eyeshadow formula contain talc? Why is that important?
Eyeshadow quad is formulated without talc, following the Artistry™ Clean standards—a rigorous set of guidelines that ensures Artistry™ products are pure, safe and effective. Many consumers are looking for products without talc.
Does the eyeshadow formula contain carmine red? Why is that important?
Eyeshadow quad is formulated with no carmine red. Carmine red is a red pigment which is commonly used in makeup products, but it is derived from insects and is not considered vegan. Eyeshadow quad is registered with The Vegan Society.
Does the eyeshadow quad come with an applicator?
Yes. It comes with a dual-ended applicator. Use the cushion tip end to lay down beautiful hues or for serious smudging. Use the brush end for a lighter touch and easy blending.
What testing has been performed?
The eyeshadow quad formulas have been allergy, dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested.
To create a natural look with any of the palettes:
- Prep your eyelids with Artistry Exact Fit™ Perfecting Concealer in your shade from lash line to brow line.
- Set the concealer by applying #1 Base shade over it.
- Follow with #2 Lid shade from lash line to crease, buffing out any excess in crease.
- Use #4 Liner shade in the crease and blend well. Be sure to buff out any hard lines.
- Next sweep #3 Highlight under brow bone with a pop on center of eyelid for brightness.
- Use #4 Liner along upper and lower lash line for soft definition or over your eyeliner to set and smudge.
Or, be creative with your own style and techniques. Keep it casual by applying only the first two shades. Go smoky by layering on the deeper matte shade, then blending and blurring.
