Easter Seals helps children with disabilities address life’s challenges and achieve personal goals, helping more than 1 million children and adults each year, through 550 sites nationwide. Through the years, donations by Amway and Amway IBOs have been a powerful force in support of Easter Seals. We have raised more than $30 million in donations over our 27-year partnership with Easter Seals and help millions of individuals with disabilities.

Amway is an annual National Presenting Sponsor of “Walk With Me” events, to raise funds benefiting Easter Seals therapy programs in local communities. Every year, more than a thousand IBOs and employees participate in dozens of “Walk With Me” events around the country.

In 2010, Amway launched a new partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs (BAGC) of America. The partnership creates a new program for Clubs across the country, teaching kids about nutrition and healthy eating by growing their own community gardens.

Through the Amway “Positive Sprouts” program, we are mobilizing local Independent Business Owners to help with the garden building, and to “adopt” their local Clubs as volunteers, donors, and advocates for children. Known as The Amway Positive Sprouts project, the program provides an opportunity to teach young people about nutrition and the importance of eating fresh fruits and vegetables. Children will not only help cultivate the plants but harvest and bring home the produce. Through this partnership, Amway hopes to inspire these children to lead lives of positive action, including eating right and discovering the many resources earth has to offer.

The program was introduced at Boys & Girls Clubs in seven cities in 2010. The plan is to use this scaleable model to offer to more than 4,000 Clubs across the country.

While this is the first national relationship with BAGC, Amway has partnered with several local Clubs dating back to 1948.

Amway is a longtime supporter of the U.S. Dream Academy, which empowers at-risk youth by providing academic, social, and values enrichment through supportive mentoring programs.

Haiti continues to face massive tasks in rebuilding their community, and we’ve found one way to help!

We are pleased to announce Amway’s new partnership with SOS Children’s Villages to build a home in Les Cayes, Haiti. The entire SOS Village will contain 15 family homes –each supporting nine children and their SOS Mother, a school, a medical facility, and other community facilities to support the families.

We chose to partner with SOS Children’s Villages because they have had a presence in Haiti for over 30 years and currently operate two Villages in Cap Haitien and Santo near Port-au-Prince, They work tirelessly to improve the lives and well-being for over 500 homeless or orphaned children in Haiti.

Amway, its IBOs, employees, and customers have a rare opportunity to support this incredible effort and help build a home to provide a stable and caring environment for nine children.

Amway has donated $250,000 toward the building project, and invites you to participate with them by giving what you can to provide $70,000 for the first year’s operating expenses of the home.
