Nutrilite's Buena Park

Nutrilite's primary manufacturing facilities are based at the headquarters in Buena Park, California, USA. The site covers 9 hectares (22 acres), with 28,000 square meters (300,000 sq ft) of buildings. Here, the Nutrilite plant concentrates, many produced from organically-grown plant ingredients, are combined into carefully researched formulations. NUTRILITE™  brand research and development is carefully focused on each of the markets around the world, allowing the brand to offer products specifically matched to regulations in each country, as well as local dietary traditions and nutritional needs. Facilities at Buena Park include research and development, quality assurance, technical and regulatory affairs, manufacturing and packaging for the production of supplement tablets and food bars. The facility annually produces approximately 6 billion tablets and 40 million food bars for packaging and shipping around the world.

Some Buena Park facts:

• The 2,300 square metre (25,000 sq ft) Quality Assurance Lab has more than 40 staff who test NUTRILITE supplements at every stage of the manufacturing process. From raw materials to the finished product, more than 10,000 quality tests per month are made to ensure that customers around the world receive the quality they need and deserve.

• The Nutrilite Health Institute Library provides Nutrilite scientists with access to more than 13,000 scientific articles and over 3,000 reference books on nutrition, physiology, agriculture, botany and chemistry.

In addition to Buena Park, Nutrilite has facilities in other parts of the world. The company's history has come full circle, with NUTRILITE products now made and sold in China, where Carl Rehnborg formed some of his early ideas about nutrition and wellness.
