Drinking Water
Your body needs plenty of water each and every day, but not all water is as pure and healthy as it could be. Different water treatment techniques all have their advantages and disadvantages. But one, unique water treatment system offers a combination of benefits you won’t find anywhere else.
If you’re still not convinced, have a look at the answers to these frequently asked questions.
Wouldn’t I be better off with bottled water?
Even if you’re happy to pay the high price of bottled water and carry it home, you may not be getting water that’s free from contaminants. Remember that at one time, one of the world’s best-known brands of mineral water was removed from sale following contamination with a cancer-causing chemical.
My municipal water has to meet strict standards. Isn’t that good enough?
Many standards for municipal water relate to micro-organisms such as bacteria. To destroy these, chlorine is often added to the water. This can react with naturally occurring organic materials to form by-products such as THMs (trihalomethanes), which may damage your health.
Why would I want all the good elements taken out of my water as well as the bad?
You wouldn’t. That’s why the eSpring system doesn’t remove them. While it’s very effective at removing harmful contaminants, it won’t take out beneficial minerals like calcium, magnesium or fluoride.
